Who here knows how to build a pool table? I wouldn't normally ask but -- hey, my usual go-to guys won't do. Xander's newly gone and the other's...well. Lately, the other's been a little less woodshop and way more calculus.

...Is carpentry something you're usually involved in?

That'd be machines, actually. But I can read and write up a blueprint, and I know how to use the tools. That's all you really need in carpentry. That, and some patience with the wood.

Hey. You've gotta be adaptable 'round here. Fiddling with this grade of tech can only get a guy so far, even if it is kinda fun repairing headphones.

Not really, no. That was just a little accident. I felt bad for the kid, but at least they work again.

Although...I'm working on a ping pong table if you want to host that in your bar. Kinda silly to keep something like that holed up for no one to use.

I think I'll pass. Beer and ping pong really should only be combined in frat house basements.

Well. I hate to tell ya, but this one hasn't. And it's not like they teach the history of college dorms in schools, so we can't really tell how anything started anymore.

It's fine. I'm not sure that figuring out how it started is all that high on my list of priorities.

Not mine either, but it might make for an interesting...uh, anthropological study sometime. The researchers crazy enough to try might find something pretty interesting.
